My Story For Canadians.
My own Swedish journey began on May 19, 2020, and it started just where you are now—with the basics. I know what it takes to build a strong foundation, step-by-step, as a fellow Canadian learner.
My passion was ignited by two things: ABBA (I had to know what they were saying in the Swedish versions!) and a fascination with Sweden that began when my dad showed me a picture in an old geography book. That dream to visit is real--I plan to be there within the next five years!
The business was inspired by simply sharing what I'd learned with family and friends. I discovered the joy of helping others connect with the language, even if it's just teaching a few words. Now, I want to share that knowledge with the broader Canadian community.
I believe that you don't need to be fluent to be a fantastic teacher. My classes are built on the perspective of a dedicated, high-level learner, not a native speaker. I know the common hurdles Canadians face and how to break them down. We're learning together, and my commitment is to be helpful as best I can, not perfect.
